Good afternoon. Maggie Mango here for your Camp Ruff-N-More news updates!
We begin this update with footage from the 2009 Dog Swim. On September 8th and 9th Legion Street Pool in Johnson City was invaded by a group of rowdy hounds. We were able to get a few pictures between dodging labs and tennis balls galore!

Well its that time of the year again! Time for the Annual Dog Jog! The Jog will begin at 9AM at Winged Deer Lake front. It will be a 1 mile non-competitive run/walk with your furry friend! Local vendors will be on hand with lots of food, treats, and goodies for those with both 2 legs and 4! And most of all, we will be there hosting lots of fun and games and also selling t-shirt's, keychain's, and homemade dog treats! Come by and participate in the Pupcake Walk, or Bobbing for Hot Dogs and many more fun games! And don't forget to enter the drawing for free days!
Another local event coming up with be the Rescues & Runaways Fall Festival. September 26th 2009 from 11 AM - 6 PM. on Broad Street in Downtown Kingsport. For every item donated, they will give a 20% off coupon for Maurice's located at the new Kingsport Pavilion Mall on East Stone Drive. Maurice's will be accepting doggie donations including food, treats, & toys at their store during the month of September.
Event Schedule will include:
A Fashion Show presented by Maurice's
Local Children's Art Show
Pet Photos with your pets and pets available for adoption
Putt-putt game
"Name our new Pet Club Mascot for Kids" contest
Story time with Clifford the Big Red Dog!
Time to start planning those Doggie Halloween costumes! Camp Ruff-N-More's Fall Festival is creeping closer! Currently the only thing for sure is it will be October 24th. We will make sure to keep everyone updated! Follow us here, on Twitter, or on Facebook to make sure you stay up to date with the news!
We would also like to mention that with kids settling into the back to school routine, time changes, and the stress of holidays just around the corner, don't forget those puppies at home! With the days getting shorter it will be harder to get your dog the exercise they need! So why not bring them to Camp and let them run off all of that extra energy so you can come home with a happy and tired pup?
We at Camp Ruff-N-More would like to thank you for your business and look forward to our next update. For all of your Camp Ruff-N-More news updates, this is news Commonterrier Maggie Mango, Good night!
